Alysoun is currently a Master of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning student at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Prior to pursuing landscape and planning, Alysoun attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received a Master of Architecture. After graduating, she worked as an architect at Landing Studio, a small design firm in the greater Boston area. During this time, her primary project focused on the design of a public access connection and stormwater management landscape space below a highway viaduct, which had formerly bisected two neighborhoods and was discharging pollutants into an adjacent waterbody. As a designer, Alysoun is interested in how to design vibrant, contextually responsive public spaces that promote environmental and social equity.
